i've been saying this like a broken record, but the reason i grew up loving reading and then started writing is because reading was inexpensive and my family was poor. it was a rare, affordable form of entertainment. the library in conjunction with mmpbs made it possible.
Doesn't matter how many stories you read on this, it's freshly harrowing each time.
