I've made it a personal goal to stop using the term "content" when referring to media made by artists. The word implies mass-produced filler and calling someone's hard work their "content" has started to feel kinda like an insult. Like human art made strictly for quick consumption

It is very important during these insane times to remain human. Practice kindness, compassion, and understanding. Now, you better take zero shit and stand up for you. But be good. Be a force of love. This creates amazing change. Little change, sure, but as it ripples outwards, eventually it grows.

It might not have the technicality of a traditional haiku and I acknowledge that. I just enjoy writing three line poems with a 5-7-5 syllable structure.

*I know that this is not a traditional Japanese haiku because it’s missing “kigo” (seasonal/nature references) among other things, but my worldview has (unfortunately) been shaped by western culture.
