To say nothing of all the conditions where getting diagnosed requires taking a drug, and if the drug works, well you must have the condition! Was it "off-label" until it worked?
I don't have to go check to know this is true.
Maybe your body craves screaming into the trees. (This sounds silly but I'm serious... it's one of the key ways to release stress, and not interchangeable with other ways.)
Like, so many ailments have no on-label treatments because they've never been studied, because the people who predominantly are afflicted by them have no political sway. That's exactly what's going on with trans healthcare.

Just about every medicine is prescribed off-label. Hell, I take gabapentin for my anxiety, and that also helps your dogs hip joints somehow. When I had an allergic reaction to a medication and developed hiccups they gave me THORAZINE to treat it.
Medicine lives off-label. It's wild.
For migraine I was *required* to try two off-label medications and one semi-label one before I could qualify for migraine medication on insurance-- an antidepressant, a beta blocker, and a triptan. Two of those three physically harmed me but I still had to try them anyway.
Look, I'm the ONLY ONE who can lead.
