The effect this has had on her & her family is tremendous & painful, but I’m happy to see her stand up for herself. It was baffling to me why Ryan was so involved, and now knowing the reason is heartbreaking. I hate this for her, him, and their kids.

Blake is owed a massive apology. At any point, she or the people close to her could have jumped to her defense, but instead she waited & collected evidence so that when this went public, there would no longer be any doubt.🧵

I can’t say that I was firmly on one team or the other because I wasn’t, but now this 80 page document is answering all the questions I had about what could be happening behind the scenes. All that to say….there shouldn’t have been any doubt, & his PR team did a great job of planting it. 🧵

But I’ve been a fan of Blake for years, so it didn’t feel right to burn her at the stake, either. A lot of what happened at the time felt like a PR stunt to promote the movie (kinda like Don’t Worry Darling), which often left me questioning what was even true.🧵

(though, we know now that was part of the contract), so of course I wanted to believe Justin. He wasn’t romanticizing the movie!! He wasn’t pretending it was a fun, lighthearted film! Clearly, he understands the importance of shedding light on the subject matter!! 🧵

It rubbed me the wrong way when HE was talking about the movie’s subject matter & SHE wasn’t🧵
