Yes, it was during a safari drive when I visited Kruger National Park in 2015
The one on the right looks like she just spent 5 minutes on X
Had my first In-N-Out burger last weekend. It was incredibly... average. Definitely not worth the 30 minute wait. Five Guys tops it, but even better are burgers from local non-chain places like The 49th or Lariat Lodge.
I had that same setup, but I was, um, a bit older than you
I know some people who need this treatment
Yes, it's like old times!
Thank you so much Diana!
Happy Superb Owl Day to all who celebrate!

I recognize that place! Summit Lake near the peak of Mount Blue Sky (formerly Mt. Evans). I have a color version with similar reflections hanging on my wall! Yours is a great angle to capture the clouds

Every year I make a year-end sound journal: a one minute track with 5-second snippets of 12 selected recordings I made throughout the year. My work this year tended toward drone and experimental, with a bit of actual music here and there. soundcloud.com/alanblip/rep...

My brain exploded π€― when I saw the news that The Onion had bought InfoWars. I couldn't decide whether it was reality or satire. Looking forward to some masterful trolling.
I've decided to no longer play Wordle or Connections. Octordle, Squaredle, Puzzmo, Waffle, and Giznep are currently on my daily menu. Anybody got any other word puzzle games they like that aren't affiliated with NY Times?
Giving Bluesky a try again after being away for 8 or 9 months. Maybe I'll figure it out better this time π€·
One reason I rarely post on Bluesky is the paltry message size. When I compose a brief message, I can post it on Threads and Mastodon without issue, but on Bluesky I have to break it into two or more messages. Since Bluesky doesn't display threads very well, it's just not worth the effort. End Messa
Obviously you should pronounce it like "gif"
I recorded Moonrise for the January Skies space music concert. I was inspired by the Pet Rock module which creates random rhythms based on the phase of the moon. The moon was in the waxing crescent phase the day I recorded it. Pet Rock played the rhythms of the two lead synths. youtu.be/J-dMSV88e_E
I drink my afternoon tea around 1pm so I wholeheartedly agree
Instead of beats per minute, this song is measured in years per beat.
