So, the reason we're seeing all these stories suggesting Sinners isn't going to be profitable is because WB signed a deal that gives director Ryan Coogler all rights to the movie after 25 years. And other studios are terrified of "directors ultimately owning their films" becoming the norm.

There are two panels from The Batman of Bruce driving through the city. One panel contains movie narration that says "Murders, robberies, assault." By my count, Michael Giacchino has written more superhero movie scores than anyone, with 10 (including the upcoming Fantastic Four). Danny Elfman is next, with 9, but only if you count Darkman as a superhero movie.
