I'm very sure this is gonna end up in some NYC nostalgia collection in 20-30 yrs, so I had to take the picture.

It's a blessing that I got a Pisces Sun & Moon to balance my Virgo Rising and Aquarius Mercury so I don't come across as condescending when dealing with questionable intelligence.

I have niece that turned 12 in Dec, a 10 year nephew, and 2 year old niece. We really the elders now. I scared bai.

I'll be vulnerable and say that the toughest part of my journey of being an artist, so far, has been regaining my ability and confidence to sing. Trying to tap back into the fearless, powerful, and always on pitch singer I was growing up.

The beautiful thing about taking action is that it leads you to keep taking more action. You just gotta get started.

Recovering from being sick for almost a week and I'm just lethargic AF. All I wanna do is rest.

I just realized: Russell on Living Single was a Jamaican but they had him, at least on one episode, saying "Cheese on bread". If you're West Indian or familiar with the different islands/nations, you KNOW that is a big error lol.

It was easy for the audience to be nonchalant about Luther's sexuality since he didn't confirm it. If he did reveal his orientation in the 80s & 90s, a completely different trajectory would've played out for Luther's career.

One thing that gets me, concerning Luther Vandross's doc, is how (mostly) older black people say "We knew but we didn't care" in regards to his sexuality. They conveniently forget that his success as a black male R&B artist was contingent on him being silent about his sexuality.

It's always a blessing when people share and compliment my music.
