An article “More than one million foreign nationals are receiving benefits” (March 17, 2025) referred to the number of “foreign nationals” receiving benefits, and gave the rate of benefit claims for various nationalities. In fact, the particular DWP data on which the article was based recorded the nationality of claimants when registering for a National Insurance number, rather than the nationality at the time they were claiming benefits, so that some claimants might have since acquired UK citizenship, and would not be foreign nationals at the time they were claiming benefits. After a major fire broke out in Glasgow yesterday, X users asked its AI chatbot Grok to verify imagery from the scene.

But it misidentified genuine footage as firefighters tackling a blaze in Tel Aviv - and even claimed a real photo of the fire had been made with AI.

And they said this would never happen in the lead up to joining NATO…

Home charging is fine, but it’s at times impossible to find functioning chargers when away from home, especially when rural. I just can deal with the stress of finding one. OH mainly uses the EV because I can’t deal with the stress. And then work put up charging prices too.

3 years of EV. 3 years of stress, queues to chargers, broken chargers and generally not finding that this country is ready for so many EVs. No way our second car will be EV any time soon.

Rubio just made a speech to the European defense community in Munich that did not mention Ukraine. Or democracy. Or US business deals with Russia. Or the administration's plans to support the European far right. But there were lots of nice words about our common civilization.

My constituent, Ray, is at risk of removal from the UK due to the Govt’s outdated visa criteria.

Ray founded Club395 and is vital to Bristol’s accessible, global-majority, queer creative scene.

I urge the Govt to update the criteria to reflect the reality of grassroots culture.

As airlines go #BritishAirways has consistently let us down but #Finnair has now caught up with their non-existent customer care. Never their fault for delays / missed connections. Zero help or compensation. I wish I didn’t need to fly because Ryanair is starting to look like an attractive option!

Finnair is shit. I unfortunately have to regularly use them due to their monopoly on LHR - HEL route. Their customer service is non existent and apparently nothing is ever their fault. 7 hour delay recently. Just an email apology 2 weeks later! BA not much better. Never used Qatar so no comment.
