Haven't played all that much so far, but from what I have seen it feels a bit like that "Young witch searching for her cat in the alps" tweet. Take the mechanics and some of the style of DE and put it in a brighter, less grimey world.

Started playing Esoteric Ebb. This game sure does want to be Disco Elysium doesn't it?

To some extent, but its definitely grown since Klopp. I remember hearing they overtook Man Utd in commercial revenue in places like India.

Only because one of the answers was wrong, do not embarrass me in front of the other quizzers Jordan

I got 96% but only because of the Ireland question. Fuming.

The European Union was originally known as the EEC - no, it was originally the ECSC. It became the EEC later.

There are a bunch of flat out wrong answers in this quiz. Ireland was not an independent country at the start of the middle ages, there were various chiefdoms. Also when is the start of the middle ages?

I think Liverpool have become the more fashionable team to support.

My impression from when I was a teacher (admittedly in Scotland) was that there were some younger City fans, but it was seen as quite uncool.

He's always seemed to fancy himself as a kind of public intellectual, despite the fact he does lowest common denominator formula jokes. At least the likes of Carlin and Chapelle have done real political commentary through their comedy, Carr thinks he's one of them.

This is how I feel about almost all Broadway musicals. I tried watching the Wicked film earlier this year and I just had to turn it off, unbearable.

There's a lot of mean-spiritedness about people who have gone to live in Dubai. We need to help, and ensure they have secure accommodation in the UK for 91 days of the next tax year.

Doing it from Sheffield is interesting, because the top three in the country also played at the same venue. Playing a buzzer quiz afterwards against those people really made me feel a bit inadequate, but I did get some good buzzes in so I'm happy about that.

I think I've got my pop culture knowledge up to a decent standard but I'm still awful on high art and culture. Also I had a weirdly weak Science round this time, normally I do better there.

Finished 83rd overall the latest OQL live, out of 185 entrants. I was 11th in history and 12th in geography though, which is pretty cool. I remain an extremely unbalanced quizzer.

I was at the count in Gorton and Denton last night and we all saw Matt Goodwin eat ballot papers. His girlfriend and team begged him to stop but he kept stuffing it into his mouth and making grunting sounds like the Cookie Monster

For the naming, I prefer something a bit more descriptive than just "North West", but I don't like inventing a new name for a place or reviving some archaic term like Rheged. Its Lancashire and Cheshire, simple as.

Lancashire-Cheshire. Essentially just the current North West England region with Cumbria taken out. Went back and forth on how big to make the Manchester and Liverpool municipalities, there would probably need to be an intermediate level to cover things like transport and housing.

He absolutely should not have to take responsibility for actions he has no ability to control or prevent. He is not responsible for them! Try imagining what its like to live his life before you come in with these ridiculous platitudes about responsibility.

The people offended in this case didn't even ask for an apology from him, they asked for one from the BAFTAs for how they mishandled the situation. Because they understand that's who actually did something wrong.
