Had a great time at ECCC with my buddy. Got to meet and get books signed by Colleen Doran and David Mack! Picked up a graphic novel from Cat Farris for myself, and a book by M.T. Zimny for my eldest child. Completed my Alan Moore Swamp Thing run and got another Amazing Spider-man comics I need.
Finished up Star Wars Outlaws. B- Hated the camera. Stealth, gunplay, and space combat were not very good. It was Star Wars, but the story and characters never really pulled me in. It is on Game Pass, if you have it, give it a shot.

Finished up the grind for Borderlands 4. Played through the story as Rafa. Got Harlow and Vex to level 50. Story was Meh, but movement was great (jetpack, grapple, instant ride). Enjoyed the various characters and their abilities.
Annual tradition…Christmas puzzle acquired!
No surprises there. My Dad’s favorite band was The Beatles, listened to that a lot this year after he passed in February.

Best Battlefield since BF4, but feels more like Call of Duty with map sizes and quick deaths than what I want from my Battlefield games. Conquest is still the best game mode!

Started Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 yesterday. Switched the audio to French and left the subtitles in English and my wife now sits and watches me play. Only in Act 1, but so far really enjoying it.
South of Midnight was a very atmospheric action/adventure romp through the south. Enjoyed the story, the music was amazing, combat was a bit repetitive the longer the game went. Had to really earn the no-damage boss fight achievements. Game Pass = Easy recommend!

DOOM: The Dark Ages is an amazing time as the Slayer! The combat is frenetic, so many guns and upgrades to try. The shield is awesome and adds to the combat. Pity that the Berserker achievement is buggy, hopefully it gets patched. Recommend it! Even if DOOM Eternal didn’t grab you, this one will!
Thoroughly enjoyed running around Japan as a Shinobi and a Samurai. Lots of story to wade through, lots of side quests to distract. Looking forward to the inevitable DLC.
Ooops, missed 2.2 million by 10G. On to the next milestone! Go play DOOM: The Dark Ages, it's amazing!

Finished up Dragon Age Veilguard this weekend. Enjoyed it for what it is, but not the dark tone and grit of the rest of the series.
It has been six weeks since Shep joined our family. He is fitting in great. He and Lola get along well, have similar energy, and play great with each other. We got his DNA tested to find out what sort of super-mutt he is. We expected Lab and Border Collie, surprised by German Shepherd. 100% good boy
