You could try ultrasound jelly. Its designed to have the same refractive index as water but is a lot more likely to stay where it is supposed to.

In Edinburgh and just over heard a lad say to his friend that if Scotland loses today heβs going to piss on all the daffodils he can find.
Stay classy Scotland.

SO beautiful!!
Would you consider the beautiful photo of the day thing again for a little while. It was such a source of joy during covid and we might need some of that for the next wee while.
Replicaiton is so important because when p<0.05 that means there is a 5% chance you got your results by chance. 5% is small but its not nothing so everytime it is confirmed the confidence grows.
That feeling you get when you read a study that was similar (but crucially different) to yours and saw a similar result is such an amazing feeling.
Absolutely crucial paper showing that fixation time is important for RNAscope!
We also saw this when setting up our work and I only wish a paper like this had existed at the time so we knew where and how to focus our efforts!!!
If you missed this weeks webinar with tips on 'peer reviewing your first paper' you can watch the recording here:
communities.dementiaresearcher.nihr.ac.uk/c/events/pee...
JOin us now to hear about how to review your first paper

Would you be able to add me to this please.
Thanks π
