I think we are just about there.
They ARE working for the people who elected them. At least the ones who poured tens of thousands of dollars or more into their campaign coffers to buy their seats.
Itβs old confederacy. I expect nothing less than a confederate vote from them every time.
Vaccines. πͺπ»πͺπ»
Itβs worked for them so far. They get away with it every time.
SULLIVAN: βI do not care about the economy if the government claims it can break down anyone's doors, seize anyone with no due process, put them on a plane, and send them to a foreign jailβ¦ that is fundamental to this country.β πΊπΈ
For years, I complained about teaching the Treaty of Paris, Webster-Ashburton Treaty, and the Oregon Treaty, wondering why they mattered. Then the POTUS referenced an imaginary line drawn by someone showing his lack of historical knowledge. Iβll never complain again.
This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell.
This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldnβt find itβ¦so donβt RT right now this very second.
Anyone who thinks he isnβt a Russian asset after today is just delusional.
The daily grind of school makes it tough to dive into the innovative practices I want to exploreβexpanding inquiry, AI in the classroom, student-led learning, and PBL. I need more hours in the dayβand more books! What are your must-reads on these topics? Drop your recommendations! #EdTech #PBL #AI
Except SCOTUS gave him
Immunity for all actions taken while performing his duties. He will claim immunity, congress already abdicated its power to him, and the constitution as we know it died on Election Day. Iβm afraid it was out last hope.
Bad take here. The US is not a business, and you canβt run governments like a business. You seem like a smart guy, but this isa really dumb post.
Itβs been three million this month alone in the Ohio county where I live and the neighboring county where I work. www.whio.com/news/bird-fl...

Character has to matter again at some point, mark. Itβs ridiculous. I agree he is unqualified based on the requirements of the job, but heβs also unqualified based on the requirements of being a decent person with integrity. We canβt overlook integrity or any other civic virtue. He has none.
But this shifts the blame away from the real culprits here- we the people. We had a choice. It was clear, and not enough of us made the right choice. He should have never been n the ballot- true. The institutions failed us- true. But the ultimate arbiters of power in a republic also failed the task.
Iβm struggling to teach the Constitution. If I teach what it truly says, it defies the orange one. But in this area, parents will attack my reputation and destroy my careerβjust as I near retirement. Itβs both frightening and deeply disheartening.
Iβm feeling so helpless. How do we fight the good fight when the orange tyrant shuts down legal routes? Heβs βlegallyβ dismantling the Constitution. With lackeys to rubber-stamp his lies and power grabs, how does it change? I fear the republic is lost forever. Not feeling hopeful today.
Musk comes from a family that moved to South Africa *for* the racism. He has repeatedly endorsed Great Replacement Theory in the US & Neo-Nazis of the AfD in Germany. He championed the rights of white nationalists and restored Nazi accounts to Twitter.
But I'm sure the Nazi salute was an accident.
Hereβs a shorter version:
Many worry about AIβs impact on education, but I find it fascinating. Change can be challenging or invigoratingβit depends on your mindset. While cautious about potential pitfalls, Iβd rather embrace innovation than play catch-up.
Looking for book recs on change, teen brain development, deeper learning (PBL, inquiry-based), and AI in education. Also interested microcredentialing courses in AI for learning. Whatβs on your list?
Just introduced my wife, a literacy coach, to MagicSchool AIβitβs a game-changer for creating decodable texts for emergent readers. Easy to use, free (or affordable pro), and fully customizable to fit specific reading skills. A fraction of the cost of pre-made resources. #magicschoolai
This week, I made a small shift in teaching the American Revolution: I used a jigsaw and started with why we were doing it, not just what. That simple change boosted buy-in and effort. The results? Mixed. But their enthusiasm, group discussions, and engagement? Chefβs kiss!
I had an amazing time leading a book study today with a group of passionate educators! Itβs so inspiring to engage in βteacher talkβ about making meaningful shifts in teaching practices to create deeper, more authentic learning experiences that students can apply in real-world contexts.
Trumpβs cabinet picks validate the Anti-Federalistsβ warnings about cabals, while the Senateβs lack of resistance undermines Madisonβs belief that competing factions would prevent such alliances. Together, they expose weaknesses in the checks and balances of American governance. Frightening!
Thought I was aging out of middle school teachingβcouldnβt keep up with the slang or the chaos. So I leaned into the brain rot, dove into PBL, AI, and deeper learning models, and boom: Iβm cool again. Kids are vibing, Iβm thriving, and my mid-career crisis is officially canceled.
You assume they arenβt rapists too!
Right now is the perfect time to write your Senators demanding they refuse to confirm Kash Patel. Letβs go.
And it also has an accompanying website- www.magnifylearningin.org that offers up a host of helpful resources and a podcast!
I feel like itβs pretty practical. It gives real classroom stories, and they include win stories and fail stories. They do approach the fail stories with a growth mindset, and offer up what they learned from those failures.
