Thatβs going to be gorgeous!

Sarah in WV. Iβll try any hobby once. Part time indie yarn dyer. Raiser of humans, plants, and chickens, amateur potter. Hereβs a little behind the scenes of all of it (mostly yarn). Yarn shop and Ravelry π : https://linktr.ee/thecoppersheep
Thatβs going to be gorgeous!
Dyeing up some of the Blueberry Patch color on bulky weight yarn yesterday. I forgot how magical these colors are in the pan π§Ά
I love this idea! Packed up this order today and it should be out the door shortly ππ§Ά
A crusty sourdough boule in a Dutch oven, fresh out of the oven.
Multicolored chicken eggs displayed on a black wire egg rack.
Todayβs resistance is taking the form of Rad-Wife things (not to be confused with tradwife things though they might look similar at first glance π)
(Daffodils are my favorites too - I think because at least here theyβre one of the first to come up after what feels like an eternal winter!)
Thank you! I donβt try to self-promote too much on here but it should be in my shop next week π
Those colors are amazing!
Thanks! Was just browsing her patterns on Ravelry last night π
Itβs kind of cool, right? I desperately want to create a βStarry Nightβ version because those florets would look awesome as yellow moons. (I think itβs been done before, but stillβ¦)
A knit swatch of yarn, in a variegated blue-gray colorway with flower shaped yellow stitches randomly throughout using the assigned pooling technique.
What do ya know, the assigned pooling yarn actually does the thing. My floret stitch technique needs work but Iβm happy with this interpretation of daffodils for my (self imposed) March yarn dyeing challenge π§Ά.
I feel you. Walmart is one of my only grocery options within an hour drive.
Hanks of yarn in the process of being dyed, in a pan with ombrΓ© golden yellow in one end and pale blue at the other, and a soft green band of color where they meet.
I challenged myself this year to dye up a new π§Ά colorway for each monthβs birth flower. Iβm excited about a lot of them but Marchβs daffodil has me uninspired (which is weird because I love daffodils and yellow in general!). Trying out a resist dyeing/Assigned Pooling combo for my interpretation.
Iβve done that a time or three on this. Had to start counting stitches at the end of every row until I got into the swing of things.
The sunlight, the plant, the wood and wool - everything about this picture is so cozy!
Several inches of a variegated green shawl in progress, on a knitting needle cable.
The Self Acceptance shawl is teaching me that the βyou canβt countβ memes are really, really true π§Ά. #knitsky #knitting #knit
A hank of variegated jade green yarn arranged in a pale wood table.
Dyed up some yak/silk yarn just for meeee - itβs like getting a warm cloud hug. So excited to knit it up. π§Ά Thinking of doing the Self Acceptance shawl by Kristina Vilimaite (ravelry.com/patterns/lib...). #knitting #knitsky
I just upgraded to the same set - youβre going to love it!
Malted milk powder sounds like an amazing addition!
A knit swatch of a variegated green yarn with a cup of tea in a handmade mug in the background.
Swatching and hot tea on a single-digit-temps morning seems like a good plan. π§Ά
That is stunning!
Twisted skeins of variegated jade and apple green yarn lined up in a row.
Mischief managed. All these Green Aventurine trial iterations will be going in the mystery yarn bin for the shop π π§Ά
Ah, perfect! Hadnβt found a source that sells any Chiaogoo needles yet! Theyβre my fave.
Iβm having all the heart eyes for these colors! Your greens and yellows are amazing.
Thank you! Iβm following you on Etsy now for when I need non-needly notions!
Fantastic, thank you!
Fiber folks, any recs for indie/small business online shops for knitting needles and notions? I donβt have a LYS within an hour+ drive but would love to support someoneβs livelihood! 𧢠𧦠#knitting #knitsky #knit
Thank you! You sharing this was the kick in the pants I needed to start posting here and cutting ties with Meta π
Iβve got the idea equivalent of an earworm today - for a random variegated gemstone green ala Green Aventurine. And if I could get my βinfluencerβ act together well enough to hit the record button Iβd even have a video of the process π Alas.
Holding on by the power of cute kiddy knits and maple sugaring season in our woods. (This is the baa-ble hat by Donna Smith and I 10/10 recommend for a quick whimsical knit that can be done in a weekend). ravelry.com/patterns/lib...
