It's so dehumanizing when you are stuck with an oddball problem and can't talk to a human. HP was going to institute a mandatory 15 minute wait before sending a call to a person, that is so horrible and evil, hoping people will hang up first. Thankfully the protest caused them to back down.

While setting up auto attendant systems for hotels I always insisted on the first level having press 0 go directly to the front desk and have that enabled in all the menus. I always insisted on this as not everyone is comfortable with these systems, same if no one dialed anything.
