I quit twitter three months ago as it got too weird. Enjoyed several months of nothing but wanted some dialogue around the things you mention. This looked promising so I signed up a couple of weeks ago…but yeah it’s a little stale.

I worried less than my wife did. His 2nd comp was tough, you could tell he was down but he never seemed to really struggle. After that he almost enjoyed tough comps and learning to see their positives. I think just helping them know it is supposed to be difficult (in many ways) helps a lot.
In our case having a missionary was the least anxious parenting moment we experienced. Awesome development experience, amazing communication, minimal worry about the future (for those years) and yeah…cheaper. First two weeks was harder than I thought…strait gravy after that.
