It was truly the honor of my life to work with such incredibly passionate people focused on improving human health. I’ve never experienced a more positive culture where *everyone* cared about their job and serving others.
At the nation’s scientific and public health agencies, panic set in as officials braced for a wave of layoffs. The Trump administration is now embracing forced resignation of officials at CDC and NIH.
Termination notices going out this afternoon to more than 300 employees of the National Cancer Institute. Access likely ends today. Four weeks paid leave and that’s it.
Strong power move for Team Cancer.
This was the final nail. I won’t have work after next semester.
