I was to Kraków last week. A wonder of a small door; glass catalogue at the wonderful stained glass museum; a baked cheesecake at the wonderful Manggha Museum cafe - we went back for lunch after seeing the exhibitions.

What Kind of Times Are These BY ADRIENNE RICH There's a place between two stands of trees where the grass grows uphill and the old revolutionary road breaks off into shadows near a meeting-house abandoned by the persecuted who disappeared into those shadows. Spring is so full of small beauties that it’s one great enveloping beauty—but here for #SmallBeautiesHour, a few tiny highlights from this morning: the first trillium in the woods, wild (chaparral) currant, & a moth or butterfly mirroring the white milkmaids by the trail.
