I’m glad that if we have to live in a system that’s this comically rigid, it at least means that its breaking is an inevitability.

Additionally, the RTTL’s aim of returning to a “white American culture” is genuinely confusing as they seem to wholeheartedly embrace Western *European* arts and culture, and the only thing that seems to make them uniquely American is their ability to forget that indigenous ppl were here first…
Another thing that would be funny if the effect of it wasn’t so abhorrent is that white supremacy is truly so, so boring. They see sameness and uniformity as safer and superior, and there seems to be nary an original thought to go around. ..
The RTTL members can only deflect or talk in circles because if they actually take in a question and reflect on their beliefs, they would almost immediately be confronted with the fact that their logic is so flawed that it crumbles under the slightest inquiry…
To call these ppl stupid would be reductive— it’s simply that their line of reasoning as it pertains to their justification for the RTTL movement is so flimsy that they can’t actually have an authentic or functioning conversation about it…
Found out yesterday that the ppl building a whites-only community in Arkansas are led by a guy I went to college with. I never really knew him, but I remember he was there and played horn. I ended up watching a @skynewsrss.bsky.social report about the whole thing, and a couple things struck me:
