What Is Canon Compliant? Canon Compliant is a term used to describe a fanfics relationship to canon. It is applied to fics that are NOT set in an alternate universe. In this case it means that BTS are still the BTS we know and love! What Is Canon Divergent? Canon Divergent is a term usedfor fanfiction set in a universe that divergest relatively narrlowly from canon. For example, BTS are still BTS, but the Omegaverse is real, or they disbanded at some point along their canon timeline.
