My friends at Little Acre here in Brisbane have been working hard cultivating fruiting bodies of some of the native Hericium I’ve collected and isolated into culture. We have some excited research planned for these - watch this space!
In my down time, I apparently like to pretend to be a biologist and do things like attend taxonomy conferences. It was a very nice time and very good to meet some of the people I have been bugging with a million emails for the past 2 years. 🍄🍄
The maculata looks so happy! Mine has just gone through her yearly bout of mildew and is looking Very Displeased. At least we have the memories:
