Could be, but I don’t know which other cities could fill up a widebody if it’s not Sao Paulo or Rio, with decent yields.
I see huge potential of the XLR out of Brazil to the US and Europe. GOL is trying somehow with the MAX, but I don’t know if those economics are working out.
Strange argument for the XLR being based in Brazil. I would agree on that for an airline like Avianca, Copa, or even the Mexican ones.

Changing the name might be the “easiest” and cheapest way of solving the branding. Because trying to convince the passenger keeping the same brand could cost even more

We always purchase seats A and C in an emergency exit row with my girlfriend to have a high chance seat B stays empty.
It has happen to us that someone takes seat B, still having the other 3 rows of emergency exit seats completely empty. We don’t know if it was assigned aleatory, or purchased.
