The morning at Brigg around 45 years ago would often be enlivened with the arrival of the pick up goods from Worksop.
Here we see 20003/061 dropping off a 16T load of coal for Mr. Brocklesby, the local coal merchant. Hucknall or Mansfield were the usual origins of this flow.

Northorpe station and signal box on the 8th of August 1956.
Situated between Gainsborough and Kirton in Lindsay, the station had close the previous year.
The signal box still survives today along with the station building.

I've not been to find any confirmation online, but this walkway looks like it's an original approach to one of the platforms at Victoria Station #Sheffield

Taken from a DMU cab, shows the scene at Brigg Level Crossing in the summer of 1983.
This was the last full year of life for the semaphore signals as they were replaced with colour lights as part of the major track rationalisation which took place in 1984.

Me at Liverpool Central High Level Station Decimal Day 1971.
It will be seen to resemble Manchester Central.
In the ensuing weeks the distant offices and clock disappeared along with the entire facade.
The classy restaurant block survived for a bit.
It closed forever just over a year later.
