If you want epic chonky boi door stopper fantasyβ¦I am *not* your guy.
However, if youβd like to step into absurd literary nightmares featuring paper angels, a forest of dick trees, a foul-mouthed cat, a satyr with a giant boner, lyrical prose, and a lot of painβ¦letβs talk. π
She has to explore all the new places that are available for sitting
I've hit the "girl why tf do you have so many books and board games" stage of the packing already π

Three dead, dozens sick from Listeria in premade chicken meals sold at Walmart & Kroger.
In normal times, CDC would issue a HAN.
Instead, weβre wasting energy revisiting thimerosal myths while real threats go unchecked.

An illustration of an atom, where the orbiting electron is made of a gradient between yellow and purple. The words qubits are non-binary wraps around the atom in the same yellow and purple colors
Qubits are non-binary πβοΈ
Humans reflect the nature around us, and the very basis of nature, quantum mechanics, is strictly not binary!

Yeah, you bypass the crystallization and basically "shock" the structure from being in its preferred ordered state.
I'm not sure the logistics of that one in particular one with all of the hydrogen and helium π but maybe the core?
Most glasses are made out of oxides, so the composition is different amounts of sodium oxide (Na2O), alumina (Al2O3), and silica (Si2O). You can technically make a glass out of anything as long as you cool it fast enough, which is difficult!
There's always a surprising amount of drama in the science fandom generally π I'm sure some of it is ego, some of it is based on instrument manufacturers picking one technique over another to use
Yup just the glass itself!
Not necessarily about the results themselves but it was quite surprising to learn how entrenched people are in the two different analysis methods lol, people aren't willing to collaborate with each other which makes comparing results difficult.
I was studying the process of relaxation for a specific composition of glass (sodium aluminosilicates) using a thermal analysis technique called Modulated Differential Scanning Calorimetry! I was comparing two different analysis methods of the data as well.
My dissertation is 270 pages long π«£

5. Zion - Overrated tbh, not a fan of the bus system where you're packed in like sweaty sardines. Would be worth it if you're doing Angels Landing I'm sure but I'm afraid of heights so π
Snow Canyon was more interesting tbh!
Mighty 5 National Parks rating:
1. Arches - I'm a slut for red rocks
2. Bryce Canyon - hoodoos are cool, elevation kicked my ass tho
3. Canyonlands - tons of different features, had no idea there were 4 sections
4. Capitol Reef - cool to see where there was an old uranium mine...
Group text with my family about them picking me up from the airport but I haven't gotten off the plane yet, but in the middle I drop a picture of Ben Mendelsohn yelling "It's about THE KALKITE".
Terrorizing my family with kalkite memes while stuck on the plane (the random "okay" from my dad is taking me out, we will never know what that is in reference to)
