It might be hard to convey to people outside economics just how seismic this is. The Trump effect has most certainly arrived to US academia.
Random playlist today included Natalie Imbruglia’s classic “Torn” and all I saw in my mind was the guy miming the lyrics.

Most of the journey is celebrating the tiny successes that over time become huge. Then one can look back and say “did I really do all that?”

I usually run a 5k to start my weekend days. Today, I was aiming for a slow 5k & by the end I was feeling pretty good, so took another turn in the park I run at. Ended up being a 10k-morning.
Today’s lesson: somewhere between 5k & 10k, nipple covers become an absolute necessity when running 😂
The weather got cold this week and suddenly everyone in my office are home with fevers.
