You could literally precede that question with any modern footballing issue and the answer would still be βNoβ.

Taking my daughter to her first game, itβs been a slow & convincing process to get to this point π
Stadium tour over Xmas β24 got the ball well and truly moving!
Fuming.
They didnβt even give me a chance to collect my crack pipe before they bolted the door π‘
This is why I donβt like these types of interviews with the club hierarchy, just like when Kinnear used to do similar, they say a lot without actually saying anything of substance. Pointless really.

Iβm in agreement, it needed to happen but he hasnβt ever done it before and I doubt heβs going to start nowβ¦
Itβs frustrating, but itβs just not his style (if thatβs the right word?!) to change things up early. We showed them too much respect with our starting 11, and failed to turn control into proper chances
Yes, thereβs a couple of things for me:
1) Donβt think we have the players to unlock a team that sets up in this way, and
2) Frustratingly our manager was never going to switch things up early enough.
Wonβt define our season, but an opportunity missed.
I agree with so much of this that it makes me sad
We certainly looked lacking in terms of ideas, changes needed earlier but truth be told, we donβt have too many options and the more attack minded players have played very little football
Iβm hoping we see the lesser spotted Sam Byramβ¦
I think itβll more than likely be a bit of fatigue, I agree he hasnβt had a great week and he really sets the tone for the rest of the team too (in a positive sense)
100% the opposition tactics didnβt help, but we also played into their hands with our set up and lack of urgency to change things.
I wanted us to take that game by the scruff of the neck but we just looked a bit timid and lacklustre
Yes, more of a wake up call (or reminder) to Farke that we still need to mix things up and keep the opposition guessing. We made it a little too easy for them last night and drifted into knocking it around at the back which weβve all seen before..
Weβll be alright. Last night was probably the only stinker weβve thrown in this season but the opposition didnβt help with their awful anti-football approach. Might just be the wake up call we need going into the final straight #LUFC
Far too conservative
Definitely our most frustrating performance this season. No spark until far too late.
Fuming about that performance. Nowhere near good enough #LUFC
Weβve not been anywhere near good enough tonight. Far too passive. Very disappointing #LUFC
Ampadu hasnβt had a great week so far #LUFC
Maybe theyβre reviewing it at half time so that someone can get ahead with drafting the apology letter
Fair play to TNT for finding any βhighlightsβ from that #LUFC
Sunderlandβs press on our CBβs is proving very effective for them
Well, that was ermβ¦. Dull #LUFC
Any of the books a good read π
Crikey. It was less than a minute to drink some waterβ¦
Yes I donβt disagree.
I watched on TV and I was as unsure what was going on until they showed the screen.
Just goes to show the herd mentality that exists and how people feel empowered when surrounded by their ownβ¦
Youβre right.
I think there is as an element of reaction to Pepβs impromptu sideline team talk in the away tie, fans in the ground assuming this was the same?
