It’s frustrating, but it’s just not his style (if that’s the right word?!) to change things up early. We showed them too much respect with our starting 11, and failed to turn control into proper chances

Yes, there’s a couple of things for me:
1) Don’t think we have the players to unlock a team that sets up in this way, and
2) Frustratingly our manager was never going to switch things up early enough.

Won’t define our season, but an opportunity missed.

I agree with so much of this that it makes me sad

We certainly looked lacking in terms of ideas, changes needed earlier but truth be told, we don’t have too many options and the more attack minded players have played very little football

I think it’ll more than likely be a bit of fatigue, I agree he hasn’t had a great week and he really sets the tone for the rest of the team too (in a positive sense)

100% the opposition tactics didn’t help, but we also played into their hands with our set up and lack of urgency to change things.
I wanted us to take that game by the scruff of the neck but we just looked a bit timid and lacklustre

Yes, more of a wake up call (or reminder) to Farke that we still need to mix things up and keep the opposition guessing. We made it a little too easy for them last night and drifted into knocking it around at the back which we’ve all seen before..

We’ll be alright. Last night was probably the only stinker we’ve thrown in this season but the opposition didn’t help with their awful anti-football approach. Might just be the wake up call we need going into the final straight #LUFC
