Launching DA4 was an uphill battle, so #thankyouDADevs for seeing it through to the end. Veilguard wasn't the send-off I expected but it felt really nice to revisit Thedas after so long.

Four Panels, each with a being in them. Panel 1 has the Sewer man, made of worms, sad but dangerous. It looks like a green skeleton with curly, hair like growths. Panel 2 has Vanessa Jones, always burning. She looks like a blazing, perpetually in pain skeletal mummy. Panel 3 has the Body of Unborns, from Saint Anna Hospital. It comes from an unholy ritual. It looks like a sphere made of disfigured fetuses. Panel 4 has MOSS, or its physical body at least. It looks like a vegetation-covered skeleton, rife with spores. A note in the middle of the page reads "don't share - only for private files - not public - REAL RECORDS AT PARAPSYCHOLOGY DEPARTMENT AT ARGHOLLAN UNIVERSITY".

INSANELY good. Recalls everything from Karel Zeman to (obviously) Mario Bava, but is still so visually and tonally distinct. Creeping, rich, and blatantly about queer trauma. Closeted self-loathing manifesting as abuse to family members showing beautifully queer aspects of themselves.

A design for a film that never happened.
I was told, several times that they were looking to see an embodiment of ultimate evil, something truly vile and malicious.

After I submitted this design, I was told they were actually looking for something beautiful and androgynous.
