Any advice for those of us on tracker deals (I’m on octopus) - I’m guessing fix if you are cautious and stay if you are prepared to take the risk?

An amazing night at Barry Bannan’s charity event for Sheffield children’s hospital. Incredible turn out including from ex-players - #swfc may be at the bottom right now b it what a community and what a club we have

I’m still angry about that film.

All the BBC Olympics coverage has been brilliant - but Ed and Tim doing the freestyle are utterly glorious. Funny, infectious joy!

There has been way too much hype/pressure around our Olympics hopes. We should chill out a bit - just being in the Olympics is a major achievement.

I booked a holiday this week after feeling generally fed up about all things - it helped.

We also have terrible facilities and don’t have the coaching staff/set up which has led to lots of injury problems in our main squad for years.

He was in an elite training set up, playing regular football at high intensity/levels, and training with the main squad. Our kids have gone from playing under 21 to the championship against adults. Not ready for that level/intensity.

Senegal were the right winners - utterly bonkers game. Never try a Panenka

The vast majority of our tiny squad are not good enough for this level and some are playing several levels above - they wouldn’t get in a league one side. A couple of the kids show promise but whether they can sustain is a question. It’s horrible but unsurprising.

27 years ago today Watford and Sheffield Wednesday are locked in a penalty shootout.

The deciding kick falls to Big Kevin Pressman.

Barnsley is really interesting here, they did a regeneration scheme that went with the town’s culture and seems to have really worked.

social media companies should not continue to get a free pass for activity that would be prosecuted anywhere else in the media world. But we also need a broader conversation about why men do this.

Totally agree my feed is now a bizarre mix of ads for weird thing and TikTok style videos that aren’t interesting. I’m using socials overall less which is prob a good thing

Entirely burnt roasted vegetables - they should not be left in an oven for 3 hours

Sometimes it’s a good idea to put a timer on your oven - so you don’t go and watch a film and forget entirely. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

International Men's Day @ Wednesday

Tomorrow, 19th November, marks International Men's Day 2024.

This year we want to use our platform to celebrate some of the men who contribute so much to the club we love, giving them a chance to talk about the things that matter to them, as men.

Richmond is a major upgrade in my travelodge London experience. Very pretty

Direct sowing too! I’ve embraced being more relaxed. Particularly this year as the weather here was terrible so lots of stuff failed. As long as I get some food and flowers, and wild bits help nature I’ve done ok. But I have found how much I work in it is a good sign of how I’m feeling.

I agree policing isn’t the answer or practical. I would like a better culture. I hate walking in London, you have to be on constant alert because of a minority of cyclists that ignore the rules. I fear that puts off potential pedestrians and cyclists. I think things can be better than that.

I have learnt to embrace gluts and nothing. I would love to succession sow but I forget and lack the time. Perennial salads and leafy greens have made life easier for me too!
