Bike part art: a bike wheel decorated with various hand tools and decorative embellishments including a sign saying Nuts About Bikes. This creation livens up our window and was created by the very talented mum of one of our volunteers.
A reminder that the Hub is closed and our social media fairy is off to help the elves until Saturday the 4th of January.
Have a wonderful Christmas time and we'll see you all for more fun on two wheels (or three!) next year

A young man proudly sits on a blue and silver trike that he fettled outside Yate Community Bike Hub
This week we surprised two of our young people on work experience with the gift. They have both been working with our mechanic Adam since the summer but didn't know the last bike & trike they worked on were theirs to keep!
Merry Christmas - we hope these wheels bring you lots of happy miles!

YCBH were able to re-gift this bike to the Velodrome, ensuring it goes to someone who may not be in a position to buy one, so they can have it as a short term rental until they can get their own.
Who knows, maybe a budding Olympic cyclist might just start out on hub bike #1377? 3/3
