thinking about making a vampire conlang
aaa
add tones... tones are so cool... (whisper voice in dark cave)
the coolest idea i had was tone-umlaut, with plurals and whatnots, i wanna draft that one day
new conlangs to make! i need to finish out ... stuff
i cannot pronounce a tapped v for the life of me
i did draft an orcish....
thinking about making dnd conlangs again.... no i shant...
for my newest conlang i decided that Galeddic didnt have any kind of carved in script, they borrowed reed pens, and reed pens glide when writing like a dancer does
it turns pretty wordy so theres a slang form, and a borrowing which is what makes the agentive
one of these days ill make the infixing-agglutinative language of my dreams... one of these days...
so bravvΔ«dde (blood) uses brav- as root 1a from the word bravte meaning red, vΔ«d as another root 1 but as root 1b and -de as a buffer root 2 so the word still makes sense, the case infixing between root 1b and root 2
another fun morphology system i made with a friend was that nouns had 2 roots, root 1 (r1) and root 2 (r2) and you could mix and match these to create new words, so vΔ«ddun (water) is vΔ«d (r1) and dun (r2), and to make new words youd add new roots
one idea i had was systemized infixes becoming noun classes, so like dΙ* could be djΙ* or djΙw* or djawng*
i think the first time i had this idea the first infix decided case and the second either number or tense if it was a verb, so tru* root of 'to burn' and truw* 'burning', something like that
brainstorming a non-triconsonantal but still nonconcatenative morphology
dude you gotta play disco elysium
anybody else like constructed their languages?
