It's Saturday, it's that time again.
That's right, it's time to spend more time than I need looking at weird Dreamwave variants that time has forgotten.

I just can't have nice things can I.
Genuinely the current gaming industry is just exhausting.
Sure, thats what I meant...the glasses
They are...round?
Why are they not triangles?
Oh, I dont think ive ever seen the back and silver variant. Pretty.
The detailing on the sculpt is top tier on that figure.
Speaking with @jimsorenson.bsky.social yesterday and pondering whether Transformers, as a toyline, peaked with the Cybertron line.
Now to be clear, we are defining "toy" as something fun that kids play with, not something that poses well on a shelf on in a photo booth.
Me neither until 3 hours ago haha.
It seems to be a retailer exclusive comic from late on in the run. Only one I have ever seen or heard of in 20 years.
Came out a couple of years ago. I skipped on the whole, 1 bad day series, cos it was stupid.
But the two I've read, this and Riddler have been great. Apparently however, the rest are not so touched by quality.
What a wonderful little read.
Next up on the reading pile.
This one, heavily recommended by Mr @adtcomics.bsky.social
Ah cool. In that case I'll wait haha.
I've stepped away from McFarlane a last year. Couldn't keep up and happy to hear its going back to Matel.
Oh nice. Who is making it?
It was incredible.
Fun fact about comics is that there are so many great stories that even if you have been reading for decades, there are critically acclaimed stories that have passed you by.
This is today's example. My first time reading, Batman Ego by the late, great Darwyn Cooke.

I have very much been looking forward to reading this.
A banner announcing Daran Norris' upcoming appearance at TFNation 2026. The banner contains a photo of Daran, a screen grab of KnockOut, and a list of Daran's credits alongside our event dates.
Celebrating #Transformers The Movie will be a lot of fun - but our overall 2026 guest list is shaping up to be an absolute #KnockOut!
We're thrilled to announce next summer, #TFNation will be welcoming the dastardly doctor from #TFPrime - Daran Norris!

Anyone mind ifnI take a month off my adult responsibilities to get some reading done.
Great minds sir.
You don't suck, the game cheats like hell.
Onwards, upwards and bigger.
Congratulations, wonderful news.
I'll let your brains do the rest.
You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become Bret Hart.
A scene set in space showing the world of Cybertron, home planet of the Transformers transformed into a robot form - Primus, patterened on the Rodimus Prime toy, instead of a chest flames there is a matrix of leadership marking. The outer shell of the planet forming giant wings, his left, is tattered and damaged at the bottom, just as the planet is in the cartoon. He wields a massive giant blade, the pommel is Vector Sigma, the crossguard and opened matrix case one half on each side and the base of the sword is the key to vector sigma. The blade is glowing, because I wanted it to. He is holding the blade in his both hands, close to his body and pointing upwards towards the demonic robot Unicron who is running towards him.
My bit of art to accompany The Secrets of Cybertron presented by @davidw140.bsky.social at last weekend's @tfnationltd.bsky.social Reading Mini-Con. I was originally going to use Don's Primus design from the War Within, but as I started realised it wasn't Sunbow enough so went my own way.
I find it so fascinating to see how the largest website in our community chooses to report news.
Literally listened to it the moment it dropped.
Very interesting.
