Today we honor the 80th birthday of Marsha P. Johnson — a trailblazing activist, drag performer, and co-founder of STAR, who helped ignite the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement.
Her legacy is a reminder that pride began as protest, and that liberation must include everyone.
