And willing to be connected to their humanness and see the humanness in others, despite what the world says “just is” or calls fairness.
On the Lord’s day I feel it important to say that Black women were brought here to bless y’all.

Remember that social media can only show you who liked or commented, not who saw it or how much it impacted them.
Lots of times people don’t write the good or vulnerable messages because they know they won’t get likes.
Write it anyway.
If it resonates with you it’ll resonate with someone else.
Don’t interfere with another person’s karma. They and God need them to learn that lesson. When you get in the way you just give yourself karma and block your blessings.
I saw this a lot when I was growing up, good people blocking their blessings by trying to do “the Christian thing” regardless…

I love seeing this. Despite what some may say, liberals moving to less densely populated + conservative states across the country will be how we fix things.
People need to know different people close up—as neighbors, as schoolmates, etc. Our social brains respond to connections not caricatures.

Now that people are doing inner work and identifying narcissistic tendencies, we’re all better at recognizing coercion by people or structures.
What do I do about the age of verisimilitude?
Build balance and flexibility into my mind and daily life.
Balance and flexibility about how I can see things and other people and even myself, changed my life from the inside out.
Balance and flexibility can help us individually and collectively.
One of my favorite words is verisimilitude. A beautiful concept rolled into one quirky word that my younger self never forgot once I saw it.
Today, we’re firmly in the age of verisimilitude.
Tomorrow, we’ll see.

—show up as the real you, don’t try to hide your “flaws”
—always tell the truth with love even if you know it’ll hurt (lies, not knowing always hurt more)
—being a nonjudgmental human that’s open
