17 state Attorneys General are suing to end 504. You know, the program that provides support for students who have a disability. Like asthma or diabetes or dyslexia. Or kids who have hearing loss or a vision loss. Sure. That seems like something we should toss out. π€¦π»ββοΈ
Texas House Representative Andy Hopper introduced bill 2657 which would dismantle the Texas Education Agency. He is NOT interested in improving public education. Does TEA need an overhaul? Probably. Are there problems that need to be addressed? Definitely. But, throwing TEA away wonβt fix anything.
