The COVID-19 Revisionists Are Twisting the Record Lockdown skeptics and mask critics are crowing—and distorting what happened five years ago.

The COVID "revisionists" claim that all policies aimed at curbing the spread of the virus—stay-at-home orders, school closures, mask mandates, etc.—were not only useless but harmful. That view is prevalent in right-wing and “heterodox” circles. The evidence does not support it.
