Comic. [Person with microphone in front of three people standing behind their own desks with drawers and a round box on top. The boxes of the first and last are shaking with their lids slightly raised.] PERSON WITH MIC: And now, for the final round, you have each been given a skunk with a hangover and chewing gum stuck to its fur. You have 30 minutes. Good luck. [caption] The Home Remedy World Championships

Important issues in play here -- the stories told about MethaneSAT don't add up. (And they should add up to the $30M in public money that was poured into it)
And the people who won't tell us what happened play a key role in deciding what missions can launch from New Zealand soil.

And until we get to the bottom of what happened with MethaneSAT that trust will not come easily. 3/3

Different people will draw different lines between "acceptable" and "unacceptable" (Collins and Tuiono certainly will) - but everyone agrees there IS a line.
So we need to trust the people who advise Ministers on which payloads sit on which side of the line – whereever the line might be. 2/3

To be honest, the last thing Trump would want would be standing at the Pearly Gates talking to a guy with a big book, a camel and the eye of a needle.

Written Questions - New Zealand Parliament
Written Questions
There are still unresolved questions about MethaneSAT and so support members of the science community who have asked the Auditor General to take a look at whether we have been told the full picuture about the $30M in public money that it received.

I don't think that conclusion is in any way unreasonable. We could have struggled less.

I was once (late 1990s?) asked to consult on a wormhole story and replied that GR lets you describe them but you needed unobtainium to actually build one. I stressed that it was an old joke but still got an email from the author when Avatar came out.

A sweeping vista of tall rocky cliffs on the left hand side, and an ocean white with seafoam on the right, with the horizon fuzzy with haze.
Another vista, this time a v shaped foreground lies in the bottom third of the image, largely in shadow, with the silhouette of a tree above it on the left third. In the middle of the v, a toetoe flower catches the light, immediately above it is lion rock. The top third o the image is a cloudy sky, the middle third shows the town of piha nestled around the beach and lion rock, with hills nestled around it and extending off towards the horizon.
Another view of the cliffs, with the ocean extending into a distant and indistinct horizon.
A hill slopes from the middle right to the bottom left of the image, it's covered in grass and toetoe flowers, with the toetoe all pointing to the right, giving a sense of the hillside being windswept. Behind it you can see more cliffs, beach, and waves breaking as they approach the shore in the distance.
First time shooting slide film, got some barely expired Fujifilm veliva for a good price, so loaded it in the Rolleicord and took it up around the Mercer Bay Loop track to make the most of it!

5 Million is a Nightmare Greg - Succession S2 E9
YouTube video by TheAchilles17
TC's line is a bit reminiscent of that thing from Succession about how $5mil is the worst amount of money to have. Luxon is a bit more wealthy and sorted than that but not "f*ck you" rich like Key...
