We focused particularly on social media advertising throughout the referendum campaign, finding evidence for active and passive depoliticization strategies from the side in favour of the abolition that ultimately resonated with Danish voters.
Together with @lienjansen.bsky.social and @stevenvanhecke.bsky.social, we examine why Denmark voted in favour of abolishing its defense opt-out in 2022 in a new study published Open Access in Politics and Governance.
