@drlperezdiaz.bsky.social does great work
I am interested in working with an artist on a graphic novel on soil and/ or global environmental change. The lab would have money to fund this.
Do you know of any graphic artists that would be interested?
Oh that looks really interesting! Love the cover also!!
If you are into vegetation modeling and disturbance recovery, meet me at #AGU25 this week!

Wrapping up the year at the BG blog with some holiday book recommendations π π€ Check it out!
That could be an option! In this dataset cities are not included though.
Nice one!
Yes, well spotted! There are some oversea territories that pull the centroid. I was not able to locate which ones. `rnaturalearth` is great in that it offers so many options of dealing with political boundaries, but also overwhelming, feedback welcome :)

Side note: I feel BlueSky compresses by figures in a non-pretty way. No matter the original resolution, they always come out weird. Is it only me? #TidyTuesday
It's been a while since I tidied - here is 2023 population per country in a fun bubble chart πππ #TidyTuesday

Aah, didn't realize the relative scales. Makes sense, thanks!
Love the visualization! I am wondering thought, should the difference not add up? It looks to me like women are doing more things overall - what are they doing less of?

A survey listing Greece, Sweden and the UK as example countries for Western Europe and Poland, Russia, and Hungary as examples for Eastern Europe.
I continue to find this Elsevier equity survey puzzling - by which logic is Greece in Western Europe?
