My biggest issue with this podcast is when to post tbh because I've been debating what would be a good day for the podcast's "birthday" to be.

Also due to the fact I want to ensure a back log and have more leeway on this for mine and the players' sanity I will consider a biweekly upload schedule

All player intros and the first session have been recorded, now I just have to edit them which I've been occasionally doing for a bit lol

We did have our 3rd player drop due to family stuff and it's delayed us as I've had to replan stuff, but all is well <3

(9/9) Of course, many people also wish to see either the death of all Gods or the rebirth of the old ones. They'll do anything to make this happen; even if it means their demise. Many now dead Gods used to roam this land, however, and their souls may yet remain to influence mortals...

(8/9) This is all, mostly, basic knowledge within Turs. Work has been happening for the last hundred years to erase parts of individual nation lore, as well as rewrite the new Gods as official Gods instead of mortals. Many within the church refuse to see them as anything less than divine.

(7/9 These mortals were overwhelmed with a burst of magic, turning them into the current Gods of the land:

Ariden - God of Magic
Ceae - Goddess of Peace
Kora - Goddess of Adventure
Mythra - Goddess of Unity
Moaril - God of Shelter
Kiro - God of Knowledge
Casmo - God of Power
Allow - God of Demons

(6/9) -form to seek a way to free the world from it's suffering, and many of them died before they could come close to anything helpful. That is... until one group of adventurers unlocked a portal to the Feyside where many magical beings lived; the magic of their home now tainting Turs forever.

(5/9 -building technology to better their lives. This was slow going, and the smaller settlements eventually succumbed to madness after their starvation caused them to eat the rotting flesh of the Gods around them. Over time, Tursians adapted to their new lives, but many groups would-

(4/9) The war did not end with the death of Amphertous, it ended due to the Gods using the remaining magic of the world to trap him far away in space. This resulted in magic being fully removed from Turs for the rest of the millennium. The people were more defenseless than ever, focusing now on-

(3/9) Mortals were trapped, living in small settlements and struggling to defend them from the monsters roaming the streets. As more Gods died, so too did the magic of Turs slowly fade in power. The war between Amphertous and the remaining Gods lasted for 100 years and saw many casualties.

(2/9) During the Cosmaclysm, the ichor from the blood of the slain Gods was used by dark spirits known as Noth to ascend themselves into a higher state of being. This act created the demons and other such fiends who then harmed the mortals.

(1/9) Over a thousand years ago Turs experienced an event known as the Cosmaclysm; this was when the Void God, Amphertous, descended from the sky and rained the corpses of the other Gods upon the land to assert himself as the one true King.
