The Frost Report was a satirical series that was broadcast on BBC 1 from 10 March 1966 to 12 December 1967. 2 series totalling 26 episodes were broadcast plus 2 specials. The series was also a launchpad to many writers and performers. The cast were David Frost, Ronnie Corbett, John Cleese, Ronnie Barker, Sheila Steafel, and Nicky Henson. Music was provided by Julie Felix and (occasionally) Tom Lehrer. The writers on the series included Bill Oddie, Tim Brooke-Taylor, Barry Cryer, Ronnie Barker, Ronnie Corbett, Dick Vosburgh, Spike Mullins, Antony Jay, Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin, Marty Feldman, Frank Muir and Denis Norden. A sketch in the series is responsible for the term "Lord Privy Seal" in the British television industry, meaning the practice of matching too literal imagery with every element of the accompanying spoken script.

Witness Against Hitler was a one-off feature length drama broadcast on BBC 1 on 10 March 1996. The true story of a Prussian aristocrat working for German military intelligence during World War II, who, with a group of fellow devout Christians, plotted to assassinate Hitler with a bomb in his briefcase. Despite being ultimately hanged by the Führer, his actions ultimately saved the lives of hundreds of Jews and helped bring about the formation of the Christian Democrat party. The Secret History of My Family was a 4 part historical documentary series broadcast on BBC Two on 10, 17, 24 & 31 March 2016. Documentary series exploring social history via the family trees of 4 ordinary families, tracing the family forward through history to their modern descendants. Taking part were the Gadbury Sisters, the Manleys & the Hunts, the Salford Scuttlers, and the Nelsons & Margaret Marchant. The series was narrated by David Morrissey.

The Keith Lemon Sketch Show was first broadcast on ITV2 from 5 February 2015. After 2 series totalling 12 programmes, the show ended on 10 March 2016. My Friend Charles is a 6 part adaptation of Francis Durbridge's novel of the same name. It was broadcast on BBC Television from 10 March to 14 April 1956. It was repeated from 3 June to 8 July 1956. Harley Street doctor Howard Latimer meets an actress from London Airport as a favour for his friend Charles Kaufmann. This leads to him being framed for murder and in seeking to clear himself he becomes increasinly ensnared in a complex web. The cast includes Stephen Murray, John Arnatt, Anne Ridler, Francis Matthews, Gillian Raine, Bryan Coleman, Geoffrey Chater, Rupert Davies, Ena Moon, Marvin Kane, Marianne Brauns and Victor Brooks.

Monroe is a medical drama series broadcast on ITV from 10 March 2011 to 5 November 2012. 2 series totalling 12 episodes were made. Gabriel Monroe, blunt neurosurgeon at St Matthew's hospital, is not noted for courtesy to colleagues, of whom only heart surgeon Jenny Bremner stands up to him. Bank clerk Alison Bannister has a brain tumour, currently mild but lethal if left for too long. However there is an outside chance of side effects if operated on and Monroe mixes honesty and flippancy in persuading Alison and husband Lee of the need for surgery. After taking their son Nick to university Monroe's wife Anna announces that she is leaving him,citing an affair he has six years earlier. The first Celebrity Big Brother took place from 9 to 16 March 2001. It was shown daily on Channel 4 with the final shown on BBC One as part of Comic Relief 2001. For the first Celebrity Big Brother, they used the house that was used in Big Brother 1, which was located in Bow, London near the 3 Mills Studios. The House remained relatively unchanged from its appearance in the debut season. Pathfinders to Venus is an 8 episode sci-fi series broadcast on ITV from 5 March to 23 April 1961. It was the sequel to Pathfinders to Mars and the final part of Project Luna. Returning to Earth from a Mars mission, Henderson and crew receive an SOS message from the direction of Venus. An American astronaut's spaceship has been damaged by a meteorite. Henderson and a Russian supply rocket begin a rescue attempt. Married for Life is a 7 episode sitcom broadcast on ITV from 5 March to 16 April 1996. It was the UK remake of the legendary US sitcom Married With Children. On 5 March 2001, ITV Carlton Central revived the legendary soap opera Crossroads. A few members of the original cast returned for the reboot. Sadly, it wasn't very popular and after a relaunch it still wasn't a hit and the revival ended after just 320 episodes on 30 May 2003.

On 5 March 2001, BBC Two broadcasted satirical show Room 101. Paul Merton's guest on this date was Weakest Link presenter Anne Robinson. Among Anne's choices for the fictional Orwellian room was the country of Wales. Robinson said they were "irritating" and "annoying" and asked the question "What are they for?" The Broadcasting Standards Commission received over 400 complaints and questions were raised in parliament by Welsh politicians. North Wales police investigated allegations of racial hatred. The BBC Complaints Unit though said the remarks "did not cross the line into the hurtful stereotyping or suggestions of inferiority which would have opened it to charges of racism".

On 17 January 2020, the CBBC Channel revived Crackerjack with hosts Sam Nixon and Mark Rhodes. Sadly, the revival only lasted 2 series totalling 20 episodes. The last episode was shown on 5 March 2021.

Ianto's Shrine is a shrine dedicated to the fictional character Ianto Jones, located at Mermaid Quay in Cardiff, Wales. Established after the character's death in a 2009 episode of BBC Wales sci-fi series Torchwood, the shrine is visited by fans who often leave tributes in the form of notes, photos, flowers, and memorabilia. It began as an impromptu memorial at a location used to depict the Torchwood Institute. Torchwood actors Gareth David-Lloyd and John Barrowman have visited the shrine. On 4 March 2026, it was announced that the shrine would be removed, reportedly due to health and safety concerns. A spokesperson for Mermaid Quay confirmed it was exploring the possibility of a new plaque for Ianto once maintenance work had been completed.

The Dave Gorman Collection was a 6 part comedy series based around the live show Are You Dave Gorman? It was broadcast on BBC Two from 4 March to 8 April 2001. Dave Gorman and Danny Wallace had a bet that Dave couldn't meet 54 of his namesakes (1 for every card in the deck including the jokers). It all got out of hand and they ended up travelling tens of thousands of miles around the world with Dave's credit card and Danny's video camera to complete the task. Only after the event, with the help of the home video footage was the journey turned into this TV series.

Ben 10 is an American animated series broadcast in the UK on Cartoon Network UK from 4 March 2006. 4 series totalling 49 episodes were made. The series follows a 10 year old boy named Ben Tennyson who gets a watch-style alien device called the "Omnitrix". Attached to his wrist, it allows him to transform into 10 different alien creatures with different abilities, allowing him to fight evil from Earth and space with his cousin Gwen and grandfather Max. The voice cast includes Tara Strong, Meagan Smith, Paul Eiding, Dee Bradley Baker, Steven Blum, Richard Steven Horvitz, Richard McGonagle, Fred Tatasciore and Jim Ward. A Man of Action creation for Cartoon Network Studios.

Slapstick and Old Lace was a 7 part comedy sketch series broadcast on ITV from 4 March to 15 April 1971. The series title was a reference to the play Arsenic and Old Lace. The show was recorded in front of a live audience in the style of a music hall/vaudeville show. Charlie Drake acted out several 'turns', one of which was an Arab-style magician who made a mess of his act (very Tommy Cooper-esque). Drake was assisted by Anna Dawson, Chris Kelly and Henry McGee (Mr Pugh from Drake's sitcom The Worker). An ATV production.

The Life and Times of David Lloyd George was a 9 part drama broadcast on BBC 2 from 4 March to 29 April 1981. The series covers most of the events of David Lloyd George's life, from his birth in Manchester in January 1863 until his death in 1945 in Llanystumdwy. It covers his personal life, specifically the running of two families, and his 54 year political career including the various Liberal Party splits from 1918 onwards. Taking the Floor was a 6 part sitcom set in the world of ballroom dancing. It was shown on BBC 1 from 4 March to 15 April 1991. Ballroom dancers Brian and Karen are a glory on the floor, but neither they nor their respective parents get on when the music stops. The cast includes Matthew Cottle, Barbara Durkin, Timothy Kightley, Peter Forbes, Janet Dale, Dean Gatiss, Claire Nielson, Christopher Godwin, Candida Rundle, Jon Cartwright and Paul Barber. An Alomo production for BBC.

On 4 March 2001 there was a bomb attack on the BBC's main news centre within BBC Television Centre, on Wood Lane in the White City area of West London. 1 person was injured. The bomb was part of a Real IRA bombing campaign which included the Ealing bombing on 2 August 2001 and an attempted bombing in Birmingham city centre on 3 November 2001. Noel Maguire, Robert Hulme, Aiden Hulme, James McCormack and John Hannan were arrested, charged, found guilty in a court of law, and sentenced to a total of 100 years imprisonment between them.

Mr Pye is a 4 part drama fantasy comedy series broadcast on Channel 4 on 2, 9, 16 & 23 March 1986. Based on the 1953 short novel of the same name by Mervyn Peake. Mr Pye travels to the Channel Island of Sark to preach the word of God. Pye does good works and he discovers that he has started to grow angel's wings, and after consulting with a Harley Street doctor, he decides to stop doing good deeds, and instead does bad deeds. He engages in some deliberately malicious acts, and after a while this results in him growing horns on his forehead. He is unable to decide what to do, but eventually decides to reveal his horned condition to the islanders, who chase him to the edge of a cliff, where Pye flies off using his wings.
