Side bar in Bairro Alto.
Hey @adrianandshane.bsky.social , look what I found in a Lisbon gay bar on Monday.
This brings me joy.

Welp. All good things come to an end. Leaving Colombia with great memories, and a few new friends. I’d like to come back, and visit Cali. But for now, looking forward to being home in my own stuff and getting spring started with some new backyard work. :)
As a gay man, I’m ok with sucking dick. I draw the line, however, as sucking a prick. Nay nay.
Never travelling in Latin America during Holy Week / Easter weekend again. The line up for the bus ticket counter is over 100 people long. 😳🤬
Dessert:
If you’re ever in Santa Marta, “Sublime Cocina Internacional” is not exaggerating. It does honour to its name. Please go, you won’t regret it.
Every single day in Santa Marta. Every. Single. Day.
Snack of champions after a long hard day at the beach.
Holy sweaty balls, Batman! It’s hot as fucking hell in Santa Marta! 🥵🫠
Seen in the ‘Museo Nacional de Colombia’. I personally don’t have intimate knowledge of a woman’s “aroma”, but I’m pretty sure I don’t want my coffee to taste like one. 🤪
Today, I improvised a self-guided tour. Medellin’s metro system (including tram and cable-cars) is entirely above ground. So you get a great view of the city. It was super cheap too. And the cable-cars provided stunning vistas.
Jeezus, there are so many hot Colombian men. 🤤🤤🤤
😑
In and around Museo de Antioquia. Lots of Botero. :)
Well Chiquita Bar was a trip last night.
I like colourful money. 😊
Cartagena is so very chill. Very cool city.
At the rate the conservatives are dropping candidates for past or present unsavoury / controversial comments, they’ll have a completely new roster by election day. 🤨
Couldn’t find a manager to scold, so I took it upon myself to remove the false advertising.
Do NOT trust grocery stores to correctly identify Canadian products. Always read the labels!
Trump’s talk about absorbing Canada and Greenland - beyond being Putin’s bitch and destroying NATO alliances - is a question of resources: water, lumber, minerals. But perhaps more importantly: control of arctic trade routes and OIL and GAS!!!

BC and Ontario pulling US booze from their shelves was all over the news, but I never heard a peep about Quebec’s SAQ. And then, today, I saw this, and it put a smile on my face. 😁
Trump is a Russian agent. He's working for Putin. Period. Full stop. I wonder: what is the punishment for high treason in the US? Maybe that should be implemented. Just sayin'
To be fair, my grandparents were in their very early 20s when WWII broke out. So, technically, my kids age, if I had any. At 46, I should be relating to my great-grandparents. But still...
Anybody else feel like they're suddenly relating to the anxiety people living in late 1938, early 1939 must have felt? Moderate shift in the baddies & goodies, but the baseline angst feels real, palpable. I wish I still had my grandparents to ask them about how they felt right before the chaos.
