I live on the border of Canada. Our town relies heavily on Canadians coming over and shopping at our stores and eating in our restaurants.
This trade war will have devastating consequences for us.
Why are we imposing higher tariffs on Canada than China?

lol! They are all hens, but don’t lay hardly at all in the winter. And this spring they are turning 5 (they were a Covid project) and apparently that is when many stop laying all together. We should have thought ahead and got more babies last spring/summer.

These are the eggs I usually get (I have 4 kids… 2 of which are athletics)
This will also be the second week I skip buying them, because it takes up too much of the budget.
Last week they were $11.20… so they have gone up $2 in a week.

For the first time in my life I didn’t buy eggs while grocery shopping because I couldn’t afford them.
Eggs are a staple in my house..I have 3 teenage boys. We even have chickens (who don’t lay in the winter -freeloaders)
