The way the PSP version of Seed's campaign was handled where you only had 5 suits and it was a branching upgrade path to better suits but you still had to manage which ones you took on missions cause you only had 5 and they slowly healed was REALLY cool tho.

Idk, playing flash games with arrow keys growing up and then when I got into touhou I found that keyboard often was better than standard controller so while I prefer a stick for shmups nowadays I'm fully capable of being equally as skilled with keyboard if I'm too lazy to pull out my stick
