I kind of agree, but I think there are games where this works - like, if the "game" part is putting together a plan/squad/program and then seeing how this auto plays out.
There's an old psx game called Carnage Heart that I think is a "good" auto-battler, if a little involved. Anything grindy sucks.

Palette cleanser!! I wouldn’t call this Gelatinous Cube my best work or anything but, fun to experiment with! I printed the figure with translucent green Anycubic resin and poured UV resin over the cube for a real Jello-y look.

I've managed to watch the first season of Stranger Things and am somewhat disappointed that it didn't end with Winona saying, "I hope things don't get stranger...", then looking directly at the camera.
Whatever my uni declares, I am not going to engage with AI. I am not going to use AI or teach students to use it. I am going to continue to explain to students why it is harmful. Absolutely absurd to allow this anti-intellectual, environmentally devastating technology into the university at all.
