Picked up The Dark on DVD at a Big Lots store years ago. I really enjoyed the Welsh mythology and Maria Bello and Sean Bean are amazing. Folk horror is really unique and interesting to me.

A storefront in Hollywood glows during the golden hour. Some palm trees line the street it’s on. Circa 2005 maybe? They used this building on Beverly and Gardner as the Peach Pit in the newer version of 90210. I drove or walked by it every day so would see them filming. One day while driving by, they weren’t actively filming and I saw Tristan Wilds. I leaned out the window and yelled “yo Omar’s coming.” He liked that so he smiled and waved. I don’t usually take pictures within the city, but the last one seemed to be liked so here goes. I’ll be back to mountains, rivers and oceans soon enough I suppose.

Criminalizing protest is a hallmark of repression. This case isn’t isolated. It’s part of a broader effort to silence dissent and erode democracy.
But despite the administration’s best efforts, we’re going to win.
No child should live in detainment. No child is illegal. A country that jails children must be stopped.
