Apropos of nothing, Deep Space Nine remains the best Trek series for tons of reasons, but one of them is that it wasn't afraid to say that, when you're left with precious little else, sometimes those morally grey acts of "terrorism" are the correct choice.
I've run two Mothership campaigns, both a one-shot and a multi-night story, and it was some of the most fun I've had in a TTRPG in a while. And as my first time as a GM it was really gratifying to see my friends react to the story. If you've ever considered picking it up, I highly recommend it.
