🗣️The enlightenment of shravakas, disciples who hear and follow the Buddha's teaching, and pratyekabuddhas, those engaged in religious training without a teacher, is by no means futile, for it is undoubtedly on the right path to true enlightenment, but it is merely partway to the goal.

Today marks the 88th anniversary of the founding of Rissho Kosei-kai.
It began in 1938 as a small group of lay Buddhists practising the Lotus Sutra together.
From that small beginning, the sangha gradually grew and is now shared across many countries.
