therapist can have a surprised Pikachu moment and connect it to Danny. They do it like twice and the other one is the therapist realizing to ask Danny what happened to an alter and not to Danny. we also never really see the alters after Danny finds out and he says once or twice that he can control>

and how she copes w hearing Danny's trauma. Yet we never see how Danny feels after it. it's like they made the therapist and his lawyer the main characters bc they didn't think people could relate to Danny. the writing also sucks, in the final episode we learn the lawyer has ptsd only so the >

They say he's innocent and a good person, even saying everyone around him failed him, yet they never give him actual scenes where he expressed feelings. For example, Danny finally starts opening up about abuse that happened to an alter, but we fade to another scene and see the therapist crying>

I've talked a lot about it on twt but basically the alters are only fleshed out in the beginning bc they want the audience to not know. And the headspace we see is just so they can add a "fantastical" element. Also the show treats Danny like the bad guy through the way they show him.
