Ok the first episode was great. I mean I knew I would love a Cinderella story, but they are just leaning all the way in and it’s really working so far

I know a TV series would be amazing!! But I will also take movie franchise. I don’t know how you do Stormlight Archive as anything but a TV series. It’s just too complicated

Why did they kill Dr Brenner only to bring on that other military doctor lady that no one cared about? That was so stupid. She played his role but without any of the emotional stakes built up throughout the series.

Does anyone else know what I mean? Maybe I’ll be able to phrase it better later. Other thoughts: so Henry was just innately evil I guess?? We did not explore that narrative thread much at all really.

They tried occasionally to allude to the fact that people were leaving Hawkins and such because the town was “cursed” but once the scale of destruction that happened had actually occurred, I feel like that’s where things just veered into unreality. I feel like I’m not explaining this very well

The premise of the show is that there are strange things happening in this normal small town. It’s scary enough to actually scare people, but in the end it appears to the vast majority of people as “normal.” Kidnapping happens, murder happens, etc. It built the tension in the first two seasons

For me at least, the scale just got out of control. And by that I don’t mean the whole other dimensions things. Weirdly I think that could have still worked because of nerdy physics stuff. What I mean is the scale of events affecting the whole town and the scale of government and military activity

I’m not the only person to say this, but if I had to sum up the whole series, it was a victim of its own success and just got too big for its britches if you know what I mean?

Getting on a stationary bike twice a week for 30 minutes massively improved my cardio fitness. I’m still kind of stunned about how much of a difference it made, especially when it’s so simple.

If we get a Gaston movie but not the Hunt for Ben Solo…. 😬😬😬😬
