A nearly immobile dragon stands at the door to his weight room. It looks like it hasn’t been used in years, with dust and cobwebs everywhere. He looks exhausted just standing there. There’s a poster on the wall of him back when he was far lighter and more muscular, looking confident and saying to train hard.

He looked inside his dormant weight room for the first time in years. He remembered the sweat, the exhaustion—the feelings of a solid workout.

It’s amazing in retrospect that Valentine’s Day lines up within a week of the first day Turbo and I met in person (2/19/20) and the day he moved in (2/17/24). It makes celebrating it a testament to our relationship. I love my dragon so much
