the boxcutter is giving me breaking bad flashbacks

Resident Evil Requiem is a HELL of a ride. Hybrid new vs old gameplay is brilliantly executed & fun.
It re-uses some stuff from previous games and I wish it did more story-wise w/ Raccoon
It goes nostalgia BANANAS. I was mashing the screenshot button. Loved it! Avoid spoilers!
Worth pointing out the last time they updated his approval rating (which, at 32, was a historical low of ANY president in 80+ years) was December: before his infamous decision-making regarding Venezuela, Minneapolis, and Greenland among others. I'm going to guess he's in the single digits now.
IMMA FIRIN' MAH LAZOOORR
Considering Elon posted on the dead bird site the other day that "nazis are obviously socialists because it's in the name" this is very apt timing.
this is like half the trans guys who approach me @ queer nightclubs btw
I didn't forget it, I excluded it because it's the most overwhelmingly popular example and had already been commented several times on this post.
I don't think Frank went hard enough on them considering the implication. I think MCU Frank had a more in-character response to cops using his logo.
Indeed.
I can already see the conservatives being triggered and frothing at the mouth about this.
But as someone who knows the source material, this is just business as usual.
I've always wanted a t-shirt of that old Black Flag poster for Police Story of the cop with the gun jammed in his mouth and the person holding it saying "go ahead, make me cum!"

"Immigration" was never the point, only a manufactured scapegoat.
Anyone left who doubts: they wouldn't be in Minnesota. They wouldn't be masked or recruiting from hate groups and prisons, there'd be court dates not black bags, people wouldn't be dying & the DoJ wouldn't be demonizing the victims.
I mean, you're correct, but also I feel like that's several times I've heard that same thing said about one of the dozen other absolutely batshit things he's just done in this administration... albeit among all the other things he's just talked big about doing and then pussyfooted around/gave up on.
This is canon as far as I'm concerned, lmao.
Like squeezing a train into a pringles can.
The upside of those same studies was that in times of extreme crisis, the overwhelming trend is counter to EVERYTHING that Hollywood has cynically spoon-fed us about such moments: Empathy, compassion & sacrificial altruism SOAR above panic, greed & self-preservation.
We're seeing that in MN today.
A few years ago, I was reading up on a number of well-sourced studies regarding behavior in disasters which turned out to be quite revealing: In the face of all logic, most people are simply incapable/unwilling to believe or accept that inevitable life-threatening danger is real until it's upon them
For 10yrs, people moaned that it was 'jumping the gun' to call them 'fascist'. An invisible goalpost shifting while MAGA policies remained constant with 30s Weimar. I knew 'if it quacks like a nazi...' but wondered how far we would slide down the pole before they'd admit it. The answer? All the way.
I didn't know Alex Pretti, but I know I won't forget him.
As a creative writer, there's little more disheartening than knowing that the America that my works are set in (the one of little more than a decade ago) no longer exists. I've no clue how the creatives of yesteryear powered through WWII, but I anxiously await the beat generation on the other side.
> Not me downgrading every new PCs to an older OS.
Seriously Microsoft, first Win 8, then Xbox One... now this.
Thanks for reminding me of the Marvel kids cartoon they did where Ray Stevenson cameo'd as The Punisher and goes on a very Punisher-accurate tirade against brussels sprouts. www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVeL...
Linda from Outbreak gets slept on for how her minor appearance and actions are technically wildly important in regards to bringing down Umbrella.
Not disagreeing that Resident Evil has a representation problem (especially for black females) but there are several black characters who are still alive — I wouldn’t say they are killed more than any other demographic in the franchise.
Sony, who released all previous RE movies, will release Zach Cregger’s RESIDENT EVIL in theaters September 18, 2026:
kinda in love with the Resident Evil HD remaster 😮💨❤️🔥
Resident Evil women ❤️
Sir, they aren’t chasing a three year old, they’re chasing the Vice President of the United States. 🙄
R.I.P. Argentina. 🫡
